I have worked with Julie for the past 4 years, in partnership with each of our respective companies. Our event took a lot of planning, time, and effort to make the event work. Once Julie and I began working on this project, I was so happy it was her I was working with. Julie was attentive, prompt with responses and willing to go the extra mile to make sure all the details for our event was exactly what they needed to be. Our event began at 5:00am and went until 8:00pm the first few years and Julie was there early and stayed late to help with clean up, and made sure all details (which involved a lot of moving parts and volunteers) were in place and working well. When Covid hit, our event went virtual – which brought about a whole new planning style – and again, Julie, was there every step of the way, making sure all details were perfect. She is a quality nonprofit event planner.

We met when she was organizing a recognition dinner for Good Shepherd Food Bank and seeking partner restaurants to serve their signature cuisine to over 200 guests at their distribution center.

Planning such an event was a mammoth undertaking as she enlisted and directed a cast of dozens including culinary artists, vendors, musicians, staff, and a board of directors. From accommodating 13 chefs in a warehouse to the culminating dinner and award presentation, there were a lot of moving parts.

It was seamless. The distribution center was transformed into an elegant yet fun space. The chefs were delighted, the guests wowed and Julie’s eye for detail was impeccable. The planning, timeline, execution, and pacing were flawless especially as the attendees, including donors and VIPs, were happily oblivious to Julie’s behind-the-scenes efforts that created an event to remember.
